Overview

Recombinant SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein|RBD (Receptor Binding Domain) encompassing amino acids 319-541. This protein corresponds to SARS-CoV-2 Variant B.1.351|orignally discovered in South Africa and contains mutations K417N|E484K and N501Y. It also contains a C-terminal Avi-Tagâ„¢ and a C-terminal His-tag. The recombinant protein is ?90% pure following high affinity Ni-NTA purification and shows less than 5% aggregation in gel filtration.Â
