Overview

Recombinant SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein, RBD (Receptor Binding Domain) encompassing amino acids 319-541. This protein corresponds to SARS-CoV-2 Variant B.1.351, orignally discovered in South Africa and contains mutations K417N, E484K and N501Y. It also contains a C-terminal Avi-Tag™ and a C-terminal His-tag. The recombinant protein is ≥90% pure following high affinity Ni-NTA purification and shows less than 5% aggregation in gel filtration.
