amsbio supplies a unique ranage of Poly-ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP) assay kits, enzymes & antibodies for
DNA damage research.

PARP presentation for more information.
Poly-ADP-ribose polymerase catalyzes the NAD dependent addition of poly-ADP-ribose (PAR) to adjacent nuclear proteins.
PARP plays an important role in
DNA repair but can also lead to
apoptosis by depleting the cellular NAD pool.
PARP inhibition has been shown to prevent tissue damage in animal models of myocardial & neuronal ischemia, diabetes, septic shock, & vascular stroke.
PARP Enzyme:
- Standard PARP purified to ~50% purity (useful as positive control for Western blot analysis of ribosylated proteins & PARP Activity Assays.)
- High specific activity (HSA) PARP enzyme purified to >95% (for detailed studies & drug discovery applications).
PARP Catalytic Domains Recombinant proteins from
E. coli containing plasmids harboring the
PARP-CAT gene.
PARP and PAR Antibodies
PARP monoclonal antibody can be used for analysis of PARP protein levels & cleavage of PARP in apoptotic cells.
PAR antibody: specific for PAR polymers synthesized by a variety of PARP isoforms (PARP-1,-2,-3, tankyrase, vPARP, and others).
PARP & PARG Kits PARP Assay Kits measure incorporation of biotinylated Poly(ADPribose) onto histone proteins, allowing screening of PARP inhibitors & measurement of PARP activity in cell and tissue extracts.
PARG Assay Kits allow screening of PARG inhibitors & measurement of PARG activity in cell extracts. Learn more, click here:
