Overview

The G9a Homogeneous Assay Kit is designed to measure the activity of G9a (also known as EHMT2 or KMT1C) for screening and profiling applications|using AlphaLISAÂ® technology. The key to the G9a Homogeneous AssayKit is a highly specific antibody that recognizes methylated substrate. With this kit|only three simple steps on a microtiter plate are required for methyltransferasedetection. First|a sample containing G9a enzyme is incubated with the biotinylatedsubstrate for one hour. Next|acceptor beads and primary antibody are added|thendonor beads|followed by reading the Alpha-counts.
