Exosome Liquid Biopsy

Tissue biopsies are invasive and not feasible for longitudinal monitoring of patients. They also do not capture the heterogeneity of the tissue or a disease of interest.

This is where liquid biopsies come in; they are non-invasive and enable a real time snapshot of the tissue homeostasis or alterations by detection of relevant biomarkers in the bloodstream. Tissue or disease specific exosomes and extracellular vesicles (EVs) can be isolated and analysed from routine blood or urine samples. This is the ideal platform for biomarker discovery and clinical diagnostic development.

ExoBiopsy

Enrichment of tumor derived genomic DNA from human biofluids. Sample type options of human plasma, serum and urine and a sample volume requirement of 0.5 - 2 ml of fluid.

Applications

  • Pre-analytical purification of tumor-derived EVs. and circulating DNA (cfDNA).
  • Isolated DNA is suitable for the detection of actionable mutations by digital PCR (dPCR).

Advantages

  • Efficient enrichment of tumor-derived EVs.
  • Combines EV capture and genomic DNA isolation.
  • Suitable for downstream dPCR, qPCR and NGS.

ExoGAG

ExoGAG is a patented isolation method that enables precipitation of extracellular vesicles (EVs) from biofluids. The ExoGAG reaction is based on the interaction between our precipitation solution and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) in the EVs.

Our product is ideal for the discovery of EV associated biomarkers from urine and diluted biofluids. Only requiring between 0.5 and 2 ml of sample volume.

Applications

  • Isolation of EVs from biofluids
  • Discovery of EV associated biomarkers
  • Efficient for EV isolation from urine

Advantages

  • Rapid turnaround time of 20 min
  • Only a small sample volume required (0.5 and 2ml)
  • Simple procedure and high yield recovery
