- Human Lipolysis Assay kits
Our lipolysis assay kits provide the tool to study chemical compounds that may influence lipolysis in cultured human or 3T3-L1 adipocytes.
Kits are available with and without a plate of cells. Kits can measure the glycerol and/or free fatty acids released in lipolysis.

- 3T3-L1 Lipolysis Assay kit
* This kit includes one 96-well plate of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes, media to
differentiate the cells and reagents for the detection of lipolysis.
The triglyceride assay kits provide quantitative data on triglyceride accumulation in cultured cells. This assay is suitable for both human and animal primary cells and cell lines. All kits are 96 well format.
- Serum / Plama Fatty Acid and Glycerol Detection kits
The level of non-esterified fatty acids (NEFA) and glycerol in serum or plasma is indicative of endogenous or induced adipocyte lipolysis.amsbio offers kits to analyze the levels of NEFA, glycerol, or both in human and animal serum or plasma. The kits are designed for use in a 96-well format and 1 to 10μl of sample. Through a two step addition process, the level of NEFA can be quantified relative to a standard curve. Glycerol detection is monitored through a one step addition and colorimetric assessment.
