The manufacturers are planning a consolidation to the range of “StemFit® Basic” media (see announcement here), involving stopping selling the international version of Basic02, to focus on

  • Basic04 Complete – supplied as a single solution that already contains bFGF at our recommended concentration of 80ng/ml, and is slightly less expensive per 500ml than Basic02. Less expensive and require less handling than Basic02.
  • Basic03 – allows easy transition to SFB-503-GMP for GMP applications.

The plan is to dispose of the remaining inventory of Basic02 by mid-summer 2021. However, we will retain bottles for up to roughly one year at the specific request of customers.

Please let us know if you will need any extra stock of Basic02 during the transition. This is not a purchase commitment, so it can be a rough estimate.

(Current batch of Basic02 (20190319A) has expiry date of March 17, 2022)
