Seeing is believing!
Expression ready lentiviral particles
are the next generation gene delivery tool. These premade particles contain a specific gene that is ready to be
delivered into a wide range of cell types including primary cells and
non-dividing cells. Co-expressed RFP (non-fusion) by 2A peptide processing
(SureTiterTM) or RSV promoter (Inducible system)
enables real-time monitoring of protein expression.
Applications for premade lentiviral particles:
- Deliver genes for expression or knock-down in
hard-to-transfect cell types (such as primary cells, stem cells and
drug-arrested cells).
- Create stable cell lines for long-term high level
expression easily and cost effectively.
- High constitutive expression or Tet
inducible expression in the presence of TetR (a repressor protein).
- Transduction
protocols for adhesive and suspension cells.
- Can also be used in vivo to generate
transgenic animals.
- Organelle targeting for sub-cellular localization
analysis (in development)
Features of premade lentiviral particles:
- Easy and Ready-to-use:
directly added into dividing and non-dividing cells.
- No need any lipids or
transfection reagents.
- Deliver genes in highly a reproducible and controllable
method.
- Safe to use: Self-inactivation to prevent viron replication.
- High true
titer: 1 x 107 IFU/ml or higher.
- Real-time monitoring of expression after 48-72 hours via co-expressed RFP fluorescent signal.
- Native and HIS tagged proteins available
Using our SureTiterTM lentiviral vectors or Inducible lentiviral
vectors we are able to generate robust lentiviral particles. Our titers are
validated by true infectious functional units using fluorescent cells rather
than by p24 ELISA or qPCR (which do not reflect true titers).
Particles are packaged in culture medium with 10% FBS, or in serum-free medium.
