They offer a flexible, standardized, high throughput format for quantitating the degree to which invasive cells penetrate a barrier
in vitro, in response to chemoattractants and/or inhibitors. Invasion can be evaluated against different matrices including
Basement Membrane Extract (BME),
Laminin,
Collagen I,
Collagen IV.
CultreCoat® Pre-Coated Cell Invasion Assays:
- Pre-coated inserts save time and improve reproducibility
- Complete kit format, available in 96 and 24 well formats
- Available in three standardized concentrations of BME (low, medium, and high)
- Find the best concentration for your cells using Sampler Assays containing Boyden chambers coated at each concentration (with uncoated wells to magainst basal migration)
Cultrex® Cell Invasion Assays:
- Includes matrix, coating solution, invasion chamber, buffers and Calcein AM
- Functionally tested with MCF, HT1080, NIH3T3 and MDA-MB231 cells
- QC to ensure invasive MDA-MB231 cells penetrate an 8 micron BME coated membrane and non-invasive MCF7 cells do not
- Available in 96 and 24 well formats
